Räddningspaketet klart. Nu skall det dras en lättnadens suck. Eller kommer vi bara att under en kort tid roa oss med att glatt ropa hej innan vi är över bäcken. Expertrösterna är många. Weiss som skriver följande i en synnerligen intressant betraktelse betitlad Last Chance for the Truth:

Whether Congress succeeds in passing legislation this weekend or not … whether the package is strong or weak … whether Monday’s market brings euphoria or panic …
No one can set back the clock ten years. No one can reverse the debt bubbles already created. No one can undo the structural damage already done. The bad debts, like the truth, must come out.
